Privacy Policy

What information GymNerd handles

Everything you enter into GymNerd — including workouts you generate, sets and reps you log, body weight entries, and any other training data — is stored locally on your iOS device using Apple's standard on-device storage frameworks.

We do not collect

• Personal information of any kind (name, email, age, etc.)
• Account credentials — there are no accounts
• Workout history, body weight, or any logged data
• Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or fingerprints
• Location data
• Photos, contacts, or any other device content
• Analytics, telemetry, or usage data
• Crash reports (beyond what Apple provides anonymously through TestFlight, if applicable)

How your data is stored

All training data is saved on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. It is not synced to iCloud, not backed up to our servers, and not visible to anyone else. If you delete the app, all of its data is removed with it.

If you choose to back up your iPhone to iCloud through Apple's standard backup feature, your GymNerd data may be included in that backup — but that data goes to your iCloud account, not to us, and is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Third-party services

GymNerd does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app contains no SDKs that report data externally.

We do not sell, share, or rent any data, because we don't have any to share.

Children's privacy

GymNerd is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect data from children — or anyone else, for that matter. If you are a parent or guardian and have any questions, please contact us at the email below.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how GymNerd handles your data, we will update this page and revise the effective date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's "What's New" release notes.
